Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to get the blow dry?
The blow dry cannot be skipped because I want to ensure that you love your results and feel fantastic before you leave!
Why can’t I schedule a la carte services as a new client? Do I have to pick a new client session?
I have bundled my new client packages in order make our first visit go as smoothly as possible, and for me to get to know your desires and your hair needs in a thorough consultation. I assure you, these sessions are an amazing value with results that you’ll be obsessed with. At that point, we can create a custom treatment plan and moving forward, I’ll assist you in scheduling according to those goals.
What is virgin hair?
Virgin hair is hair that has not been chemically treated or had any sort of color.
Why do you ask for such a long hair history?
It is important to acknowledge that chemical and color services affect the cuticle, protein bonds, pigment molecules, and overall condition and integrity of the hair until the hair that was treated grows out and is cut off, even if the results are no longer visible to the eye. On average, hair grows about a half inch a month, and about six inches a year. If you measure from the crown of your head, six inches isn’t very long. If your hair is anything over twelve inches from your crown, it’s been with you for over two years.
Having chemical or color treated hair does not make you ineligible for services by any means, but I do appreciate your transparency in this regard because I’m passionate about delivering the best results and this information is imperative for me to do so.
Do you work nights or weekends?
I will offer select evening or weekend appointments at my own discretion in seasons of high demand. If an appointment is offered and booked outside of my set working schedule, the charge for the services will be 1.5x the base rate. These will be offered to established guests only.
